The Rock Fellowship & COVID-19 Regathering Update
We know this is a season of uncertainty for many of us, but our prayer is that you would remain confident that we serve a mighty God that is in full control! We have been actively monitoring the impact of COVID-19 across our nation and locally. Countless hours have been spent praying and seeking wisdom to provide an informed and measured response for you, our church family, as we aim to prioritize the safety of our community, as well as be a source of hope and encouragement during this concerning time.
We are officially regathering for Sunday service, this Sunday, April 4th at 1:30 PM. We are excited to be able to worship as a church family once again. Some of us are still unable to re-join services in-person due to health issues or other factors—and that’s okay! We want to thank you for your engagement, prayers, and participation both near and from afar!
Please follow each of these Guidelines religiously.
This season of ministry has been unprecedented. Our hope is to continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you to all of those who have served, engaged, sacrificed, and joined us in prayer through this season. These times are tough, and we have lost loved ones, but we’re believing God is still on the throne. We are now entering a new season as we announce the regathering of our Sunday service at a new time and in a new location.
We are adhering to all the CDC recommended guidelines when it comes to regathering and preparing for all of our guests and those that call The Rock Fellowship home. You and your family’s safety is of our highest priority, and as such, we will be implementing a few changes.
The Sanctuary will have had a thorough cleaning and will be sanitized after each service. Before service the Sanctuary will have fogger disinfectant sprayed on high touch and high traffic areas like door handles, pews, and restrooms.
We encourage anyone in the at-risk categories (65 or older and those with underlying conditions) or uncomfortable regathering to continue to worship online. Our service will be available through the Church’s website rockfellowshipfl.org/streaming, Facebook page and Youtube channel. There will be only one worship service held in the Sanctuary which will be live-streamed online. And of course, for those that may not be ready to attend service physically just yet, we have our online service available on our church website, YouTube, and FaceBook. We’re excited to see you in person as we believe that our best is yet to come. We love you church family!
Entering and Exiting the Sanctuary
Wear a face covering at all times. We will have face covering available at our entrance for your convenience.
Enter and exit the Sanctuary through the doors facing 67th Avenue.
Do not gather with friends and/or family in the Sanctuary before or after service. These types of gathering will make it difficult for those entering the building to maintain social distancing (3-6 feet away).
If you want to talk to friends and/or family, you must do so outside while maintaining adequate social distancing.
Hand sanitizer will be available as your enter and exit the building.
While You Are in the Buildings
The greeters will guide you to a seat. Families, who are presently living together, may sit together in the same pew. Everyone else must sit 3-6 feet apart and every other row of pews.
There will be no Rock Kids ministry at this time.
Our team will be practicing social distancing, and assisting you from the entrance all the way to your seat. To ensure that all feel safe, all of our guests will be at a safe and comfortable distance from one another. We will be closing off every other row as well. Our team is both ready and prepared to provide you with the best and safest experience.
Restrooms will be open in the Fellowship Hall, but use cautiously and when absolutely necessary.
At this time, no food or beverages shall be prepared or served.
Once service is done, we ask that you kindly exit the building and not block any of the passage ways. Do not gather with friends and/or family while in any building.
Remember social distancing at all times while on property.
You must wear a face covering at all times through service.
Refrain from or limit shaking hands and hugging.
Sit only in designated rows of pews
Children and youth MUST sit with parents in the Sanctuary and remain under their supervision at al times.
Communion will be offered with juice and wafer in individual server. The pastor will lead the Communion part of service at the very beginning of service on first Sundays and he will guide you when to eat the wafer and drink the juice.
Passing of the Peace (Greeting) will be suspended at this time.
Use Connect Card to communicate follow up for prayer request, praise report, questions for pastor, first time guest, discover the rock, baptism, or other needs.
Tithes & Offering
Offering baskets will not be passed, but they will be at the rear of the Sanctuary.
You may send your offering to the Church by making an online donation through many paperless options:

We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we partner together to ensure the health and safety of our little ones.
